I just sent a really mean email to the owner of the dog who attacked Mowgli yesterday

She refuses to pay for any of the medical bills associated with Mowgli’s treatment - her dog apparently had some injuries as well (Mowgli got his teeth on her after she latched on to his throat - I assume he was trying to get her to let go) and has said that she won’t be taking her dog to that dog park anymore because it represents too big of a risk to her dog’s health and her wallet.

Color me livid.  I told her it was irresponsible to take an aggressive dog to the dog park and even more irresponsible to remain there after her dog had already been in one fight that night - granted, it was irresponsible of me to not leave after it became clear that there was an aggressive dog there.

I sort of feel bad, but really, I want to punch this woman in the face.

  12. runswithpoodles said: You can always report the owner/dog. Ask for the dog’s license number (though I bet she’s not licensed) and log a complaint. And since her dog started it, it’s that dog’s fault — not Mowgli’s — that her dog incurred any injuries.
