Back at the airport

The wedding that follows last night bachelorette party is on a Sunday in February, with the bar exam on Tuesday and Wednesday. The bride told one of the other bridesmaids that she doesn’t want to hear or see anything about me taking the bar because the month of February is all about her.

I can’t even. So I am supposed to be sorry that my career and maintaining the ability to pay my bills is important to me? And ignore a major responsibility of mine because she believes the world is supposed to stop for her wedding? Fuck that.

And to top everything else off, last night cost me $800 and the wedding weekend will be at least as much, possibly more. Ugh.

Edited to add: the bride herself has taken and passed the bar and of course talked of nothing else for months before. Can I get fired from this wedding?
